I don’t just own or buy a company stock because of some news I heard. There are so many stocks to choose from, but the strongest ones are from companies with solid underlying business fundamentals — which can include everything from healthy financials to a competitive advantage in the industry to a competent leadership team.

I do my company research to learn about the business before I own shares of the business for the long term.
